Definition of Webinar: (WEB-based semINAR) This is simply a workshop or seminar delivered over the Web (WWW / Internet). A webinar or a web-based semINAR is conducted by using a telephone and the internet. This method is simple and easy to use allowing a broad audience of attendees - worldwide -to participate in a seminar without having to leave their desks.

Webinars are the conferences of the future. Through modern technology a seminar can be broadcast over the Internet, making it possible to present a subject to a larger number of people with less expense than a standard office based meeting.

There are many advantages of webinar's including:

Slides the delegate (you) can see while the speaker is talking
No travelling expenses
Ability to ask questions of the speaker
Ability of the speaker to ask questions of the audience to assure comprehension
